Coming Soon(er or Later)

I have a lot of plans for my current series (and the writing speed of a turtle being dragged backwards by a wayward mail truck), but my brain is always bubbling with ideas for new characters, new worlds, and new stories to explore. While I don't have a decided "next," I have some teasers for future projects!

If you see one you are really excited for, let me know—your nudge might help decide my next WIP!

Code Name: Whose Woods These Are

A love letter to creepy woods and monsters, unexplained mysteries and conspiracies, headstrong crusading MCs, childhood friendships, mad scientists, poetry, and fighting for those who can't fight for themselves

A fog-drenched highway winds through dark, forested mountains

Code Name: Not a God

A space station in orbits over a blue planet, silhouetted against the dark, starry sky

Gender-bent sci-fi Frankenstein retelling with cyborgs, spaceships, conflict between scientific / technological advancement and morality, and some much-needed agency for Elizabeth (call her Liz)

A young woman with a scarred and dirty face and a determined expression hefts a sword over her shoulder

Code Name: The Broken Kingdom

Folklore-inspired fantasy duology with found family, mercenaries and assassins, secret royalty, deadly woods, animal companions, and a quest to save a sister that will bring an entire kingdom to its knees

A lone, hooded figure, face turned away, stands atop the flat roof of a tall building, watching over the city sprawled out below

Code Name: Red Thread

Superhero series with found family, secret powers, a shadow government, too many traumatized backstories, a prank war, mental health rep, and a faith that could change everything

Code Name: Weeping Willow

A magical forest, a memory-stealing curse, a terrible tragedy, and a deadly bargain

Pink-tinged magnolia flowers droop down across a background of dark leaves

Code Name: Wolf in the Darkest Room

A rolling ladder propped against black shelves of old and dark-bound books in a library

Dark academia vibes, a notebook with horrific powers, a wicked character come to life... did I mention it's very loosely Frankenstein-inspired?
